There are 12 animals that represent the Chinese Calendar. The animals that are use in the Chinese Calendar are: Pig, Rat, Ox, Monkey, Snake, Dog, Rooster,Dragon, Horse,Rabbit,Goat and Tiger. Year 2009 falls under Year of the Ox. Ox is characterize as hardworking, calm and methodical,dependable, patient,materialistic and ambitious.
