Never Ending Parties!

The month of September have been very hectic for my husband and I. We are invited to several birthday parties including the surprised party for my husband birthday at my in-laws house. The last birthday party that we went to happened last Saturday, September the 28th. My friend invited us for her husband's birthday celebration and I was in-charge for the food and entertainment. I cooked several dishes including Lumpiang Shanghai, Beef Steaks, Chicken Curry and more.

Before heading to the party my good friend Ophelia asked my husband and me to baby sit for their 3 boys who are all our Godson. They needed to pick up their car at the shop so without any hesitation we said yes. We woke up pretty early on a Saturday and we are happy that we are able to help them.

Anyways, my husband and I ended up staying at my other friend's house until eight at night. I sang and dance which I normally do when entertaining my guest. We had so much fun especially that my friend owned a Karaoke machine. Thankfully, everything went well and everyone love my cooking skills and are willing to hire me again for their next occasion.

What about you folks? What were you doing this past weekend?

Happy Birthday Hon, I Love You!

Today is a very special day for us because my husband is celebrating his 32nd birthday. Last night after I got out from my place of work I surprised my husband with the Resident Evil theme cake that I had ordered from my boss last week. Thankfully, he was thrilled and happy to see his favorite video game on his birthday cake. Also, my in-laws are inviting us for lunch. As a matter of fact, they are preparing some pot roast, homemade nachos and my husband's step mother baked him a double chocolate fudge cake for his birthday as well. Preparing for My Husband's Birthday

I can't believe that my husband is turning 32 years old this coming Sunday, the 22nd of September. My husband and I have known each other for over 13 years now and we have been married for almost 7 years this year. It just felt like yesterday when I first started chatting with him online. Anyways, I ordered a theme cake from my boss last week for my husband's birthday. Since my husband is a huge fan of Resident Evil video games, I decided to order a cake that will showcase the beauty of the game. I can't wait to see his reaction when the cake will be delivered this Saturday. I know that he will be so happy and surprise plus he didn't know that I am not working the day of his birthday! I'll be posting his birthday photos soon. Have a great weekend folks!

Review: My First Ever Wood Canvas from WoodSnap

I love taking and collecting pictures from various events in my life. I like to be reminded of all the wonderful memories me and my husband have had since we got married and even before we got married. About three years ago, my husband and I decided to take some studio pictures with a professional photographer here in Texas and the result was amazing.

I had recently contacted WoodSnap and ask them if I can try out their product in exchange of my honest review. I am very happy because they said "yes" and I was able to order my first ever printed pictures directly on wood. I never thought in my whole life that it is possible to print pictures on wood because I normally ordered my printed pictures through photo papers. Well, I went ahead and choose the picture that my husband and I took on the studio and mind you the result was amazing. The wood canvas I received from WoodSnap was the most wonderful custom canvas made of wood I have ever seen in a long time. I am really in love with the result because I was able to customize it to my own liking.

Also, I commend them for being prompt in answering my queries and for delivering my order on time. By the way, I would like to encourage everyone including my readers, family and friends to try out WoodSnap today by clicking any of the links within this article and please don't forget to follow them on Twitter and Pinterest. Also, like WoodSnap on Facebook.

Creamy Pork Caldereta and Bistek Tagalog

                                                                         Bistek Tagalog
I have been pretty occupied with school and work for several days now and I can't seem to find time to update all my blogs online. Also, I have been cooking and creating new dishes for my husband and so far the result is excellent. I will be giving out samples to my fellow workers and I am crossing my fingers that they will like all the new cuisine I am making.

By the way, I made my own version of these two dishes that are very popular in the Philippines such as the Bistek Tagalog (Beef Steaks) and Creamy Pork Caldereta. I have made the Bistek Tagalog last week and for dinner this evening I made the Creamy Pork Caldereta. Take a look at the pictures I've posted within this article and tell me if what you think?

Review: The Most Amazing Daddy Diaper Pack by Daddy Scrubs

My husband and I were thrilled to find out that one of my closest friends who also resides in Texas is expecting not only one baby but two babies on the way. I never really thought that she will have twins because she had told me before that no one in her family nor the husband's family had any history of having twins. My friend J informed us recently that she will have her baby shower next month and we are looking forward to attend this event.

Fortunately, DaddyScrubs agreed to send me a product for review and guess what? DaddyScrubs sent me the most amazing Daddy Diaper Pack worth ($69.95) for any expectant father or parents out there. What I love about this product from DaddyScrubs is that it can hold all the basic essentials for your babies including feeding bottles, diapers, clothes and more. It is also great for any Dad's out there that are always on the go. The Daddy Diaper Pack is great for traveling, shopping, walking and much more.

Of course, my husband and I are excited to give the Daddy Diaper Pack as our gift during her baby shower; I truly believe that it will blow their mind. I can already imagine my friend's reaction when she opens our gift to her. The Daddy Diaper Pack is perfect for them especially that they are having twins.

Please read the Daddy Diaper Pack description below:

"The Daddy Diaper Pack™ in basic black is the ultimate backpack for Dads with full straps and clips to lock it down, and to take it off quickly and easily. The custom design allows less fumbling through deep pockets and eliminates struggling to take off the pack while holding baby. The side pockets are great for water bottles, baby bottles, and sippy cups. There’s a big pouch for diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes (and of course a small one for the “dirty stuff”). The front organizer pocket is designed for the essentials like keys, money, cell phone, pacifier, and small toys. The insulated cooler pocket is perfect for snacks. The skater straps are great for hooking everything from sand pails, to beach towels, to flip flops, hats, and even wet clothes. The Daddy Diaper Pack™ by DaddyScrubs is truly the ultimate go-to diaper bag for dads – perfect for all occasions like shopping, walking trips, car rides, and emergencies".

My husband and I would like to recommend the Daddy Diaper Pack for any expectant fathers or parent out there. Lastly, I would like to encourage everyone to please like them on Facebook, follow them on Twitter or Pinterest.
