Trip to New York Part 2

My second day in New York was way much better compared when I first arrived there. My suitcase was delivered the night before so I was able to take a shower and change to some clean clothes. I did sleep most of the day during my second day in New York because I was just exhausted from all the fuss I've been through. After I woke up my Aunt and Uncle was already dressed and ready to leave the hotel. We decided to check out the Statue of Liberty on our way to dinner. The sight of Lady Liberty were amazing, it has a lot of meaning especially if you are an immigrant like myself. It made me teary eyed because I felt so welcomed when I saw the statue. After that, we stroll around Time Square and decided to head back to the hotel.

The following day, we did a lot of sightseeing including visiting the Grand Central Station, riding the subway, walking at the famous Brooklyn bridge, checking out Time Square and walking from there up to the 53rd street to visit the famous Central Park. We did a lot of things after that. We went to the mall and shop; mind you the prices are way too expensive but I had a lot of fun window shopping. I also tried eating pizza in New York and I can tell you folks that there pizza is way better than what we have back here.

The day that I left New York was one of the hardest part because I grown to appreciate the city and loved it. It is different than any other places I've visited but I am really thankful that I was able to see it. I promised to myself that this won't be the last time that I will visit New York as a matter of fact; I am planning to visit it in the summer and this time with my spouse. God Bless America and God Bless New York.
