Jay and Nao have met each other a couple of times during our company party and gatherings before. Both of their parents are actually my colleagues at my place of work. Jay is turning seven years old next month and on the other hand Nao is turning eleven later this year. I have observed that when they first meet both girls have the same favorite colors which are purple and pink. They both are mixed (half white and half Mexican). They lived in the same neighborhood. They became really close with each other since the last time I've seen this girls. I am happy to see that both girls are committed to become best friends forever. Take a look at the picture below! I got on the internet today using my Clear wireless connection to read the latest about the Paula Deen and Anthony Bourdain fued. I love food and I also like to follow the food drama. Most recently, Paula Deen announced that she had Type II diabetes. I don’t understand why this is such a surprise to everyone with the way she eats and cooks. I also don’t think that people should be bashing her for not releasing her private health information. I think that it is her business. Anthony Bourdain ( a pompus chef) has been slamming her recently. He said that she shouldn’t be teaching America to cook the way that she does and that she should reconsider her deal with a drug company to sell medication to treat diabetes. Honestly, I really don’t care what she does. Type II diabetes is climbing as America gets heavier. It does need to be treated and prevented. I don’t think that Paula Deen is responsible for those Americans who have Type II diabetes. Anthony Bourdain is just so hateful sometimes.

The Birthday Girl Emily

We attended two kids birthday party yesterday. One invitation came from one of my colleagues at work for her daughter Emily and the other invitation came from (Kumare and Kumpadre) for the birthday celebration of our godson Jayden's second birthday.

The first birthday party that we went was pretty cool because they hired people to do face painting for the kids, they made different forms of balloons, and they also nail painting for the kids as well. Even the adults were inspired to get face painting. They served us with nachos, burgers, hotdogs, chili soup, cakes and more. It was really fun.

After two hours my husband and I decided to check out our Godson's birthday party. We had already expected that these will be another gathering for the Filipino community here in Texas and without a doubt there were plenty of them that came. We brought our gifts and say hello to most of the people in the party. The food was delicious because it was all Filipino foods. Since we were already full, dear hubby and I didn't eat much. Indeed, yesterday was a glorious day after all. We were so happy that we both got the day off.

Today is great also because we have the time to give thanks to the Lord by attending the church services this morning.

I can't wait to received my first ever coupon storage binder sheets that I ordered from eBay about five minutes ago. I have been using coupons for over five months now and so far so good. Today was a very busy day and after school I was very hungry and although I usually prefer to eat at home my husband suggested that we go to Arby's to get food, and it turns out that it was a really great meal. I had gotten their chicken strips, seasoned fries, and my husband got an Arby's roast-beef melt. I have to say that I really love the Arby's sauce and my husband really loves the Horsey sauce because it is somewhat spicy and goes perfect on any of Arby's roast beef sandwich. Next time my husband suggested that we try the Arby's French Dip and Swiss Sub sandwich because it comes with au jus sauce and both of us have never tried it before. I am really looking forward to our next visit at Arby's, I am pretty sure the food will be fantastic.

Almost a week ago, my husband and I went to watch the midnight screening for the movie Underworld Awakening starring Kate Beckinsale. The movie is full of action plus it actually shows the integrations of normal human beings together with vampires and lycan all in one place.

I received two of my 1099 forms today, one from my place of work and one from the company who hire me to write articles online. This will be my first ever haul for 2012 using my coupons. So without further ado, here's what I got from our local Walgreens using my coupons and rewards. I still don't understand why people could be so mean when you try to be friendly with them. I had a bad experienced today while shopping at one of the Walgreens store closed to home. When I enter the store, I saw one of the employees vacuuming the floor. I said hello and guess what? She didn't even bother to say hello or smile at least. I was thinking probably she was just busy doing her job and possibly didn't hear my greetings. While I was checking the aisles and turning the pages of my coupon binder I noticed that they keep looking at me. I thought I did something wrong or something because it was really awkward. By the way, I have a habit of asking if they need help or they need something but to my dismay they just turned their back at me. I called my husband to come inside so I have someone to talk to while doing my shopping.

Anyways, when I went to check out my items the lady that I mention earlier who was cleaning the floor was there to help me. She started scanning the items without even saying hello or hi to me. After I paid the items, I just left without saying thank you either because she really pisses me off. But before that, I did make sure that they can hear me telling my husband that I would never shop with that store again because the employees are so rude and obnoxious.

I have so many things to be thankful today not only that I passed the most important interview in my life with flying colors but I also have my family with me who really believes on what I am capable of. My First Pair of Leopard Shoes

Spring Classes is Officially Here

Today marks the first day of Spring classes for 2012. I am anxious to meet the teacher because she seems very uptight with how she worded her syllabus for this semester. According to the syllabus guide for this class we already have a paper due next week. I haven't purchase any books that she requires us to have and that is why I am very hyper to attend this class later today. Also, I will have my other class tomorrow in the afternoon. I am looking forward for a more vibrant and interesting discussing for my classes. I can't wait to graduate and get my second Bachelors Degree.

Domestic Violence

Unfortunately, one of my friends is facing and assault charge from her husband and in the county right now waiting to be bailed out. As much as I wanted to bail her out but I haven't really had the chance to talk to her so I will know her side of story. According to her husband, she started biting, punching and scratching him after he stopped her from breastfeeding their four month old baby because she had been drinking alcoholic beverage the night before. I had learned this sad incident from another friend who also happens to be her neighbor. I am devastated of what happen but I hope I can get a hold of her tomorrow and see if what we can do to help her. I am just out of words right now and heartbroken.

Today was another busy day at my working place and I am glad that my shift is finally over. I can finally get some time to relax before I go out with some friends from my place of work for a birthday celebration. One of my colleagues from my place of work is celebrating her 40th birthday and she would like to go dancing and singing. I am extremely excited because this will be my first time to go out with them including my two bosses. Hopefully, everything will turn out fine.

On the other hand, I am extremely nervous for this coming week not only that I have to go back to school but I have an important interview coming up which will change the course of my life. I am praying and hoping that I can achieve what I've been dreaming to get my whole life. Anyways, I would like to wish everyone a happy weekend with their family and friends.
