Belated Happy Happy Birthday to Me!

I can't believe that I totally forgot to write an article about my 30th birthday celebration last April 1st. I blame my hectic schedule at my place of work as well as my busy schedule at school. Well, I felt really awkward thinking about reaching thirty years old because I felt so old but I have so much to thank for. I thank God for all the blessings such as having a loving family and for giving me a wonderful husband. I celebrated my birthday together with my nephew Kaleb who was also celebrating his 8th birthday. My husband's whole family was there to celebrate with me. I received plenty of presents but the best gift of all was listening to my younger siblings sang happy birthday to me through long distance call. Anyways, folks being 30 wasn't so bad after all; in fact I love every minute of it!

Pre-Valentine's Day Celebration

My husband and I decided to have our Valentine's Day celebration in advance last Friday because I have school tomorrow night plus we both know that it will be incredibly busy tomorrow at our favorite restaurant. We picked Red Lobster this year and as usual the food is phenomenal. After dinner we went to watch a movie and then after that we headed directly to our apartment.  

Guess what? My handsome hubby surprised me with a cute stuff toy and a brand new Coach Purse.  I am very happy because I wasn't expecting anything this year since we are going for a mini vacation during spring break! Anyways, I have a gift waiting for hubby tomorrow!

We are going to become a First Time Godparent

 I can't believe that I will be working straight this week. But one thing I am looking forward next weekend is that we will become a first time Godparent to our soon to be Godson Jaden. I am excited that I am even trying to shop for a new dress tomorrow. By the way, Jaden is the first child of one of the closest Filipina friend from my place. She got married two years ago and I thought I will be the first one to be pregnant but it was the other way around. We are so happy to be one of the Godparents of this wonderful child and we are looking forward to guide him when needed.

Celebrating my 28th Birthday

I turned 28 years old last April 1, 2010. I had been very busy lately with school and worked that's why I haven't been posting anything new lately about my life. Anyways, I am happy to enjoy my birthday with my husband and friends. My mother was also celebrating her 48th birthday the same day I am celebrating mine.

Hubby surprises me with a designer purse from Coach, super adorable watch and Victoria's Secret perfumes. I also received a JCPenny gift card and a birthday card from my father-in-law. Also my boss at work bakes a cake for me.

I am very thankful for everyone who greeted me on natal day. Thank you guys a lot and lastly, I am thankful for all the blessings that the Lord has given me.

Picking the Perfect Valentine's Gift

I am looking forward to find the perfect gift for my husband this coming Valentine's day. I have so many things in my mind that I can actually give to him but I have not decided yet. We are planning for a weekend road trip to visit his sisters in another state so we might be celebrating the Valentine's Day in advance.

Anyways, I hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend. I know that most of you out there are watching the Super Bowl. The Saints won!

Happy Father's Day to my Papa, Dad-in-law and Step-Dad-in-law!

I just arrived from work and wow I am so tired. I wish I could go to sleep right away but I can't do that. I am just here online checking my emails and doing my posting. Well, before anything else I would like to greet my Papa a Happy Father's Day to you Pa. You have always been a good father to us, I am very proud that you are my father. You will always have a special place in my heart.

To my Dad-in-law, thank you for being good and helpful to us. I thank you for driving me to work when Tony is not around. Thank you for treating me as your own daughter, I really appreciate it.

Lastly, I would like to thank my husband's Step Dad. Thank you for being nice and thank you for being there all the time. Tony and me are very thankful and we wish you to have a wonderful father's day celebration. Congratulations....You are a great- grandfather now.
