Hey y'all we are back in El Paso since June 11th after my spouse decided to find a job closer to home. So far, he receives plenty of interviews but no one hasn't hired him for a permanent position. We are back to square one which is not easy but we are praying hard that all our plans will fall into places soon. He is back to substituting at the school district although we might still have a big chance of moving out of town again before the end of this year. He is still waiting for several job opportunities he applied outside of El Paso to confirm whether or not he is hired so we can move there as soon as possible.
I have been somewhat sad and discourage especially that I haven't been doing what I love which is working and earning my own money. I've been wanting so bad to go back to my old job but I don't want to leave on a bad note if again I need to quit to be with my husband. I did make myself busy ones again by doing online surveys as well as I'm back in my coupon hobby. I guess that's my latest update about what's up with us. I hope everyone is having a blast during their summer vacations and what not. Take care folks and keep that prayers coming our way!

4 Months and Counting....Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!
Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my readers across the globe. It has been four months since I left El Paso, Texas and moved into a small town called Beeville which is also located in Texas. Life here is quite different that what I got used too while living back in El Paso. Beeville is very peaceful town, everyone knows everyone and there's nothing much to do here over the weekend. My spouse and I normally spend our weekend either in San Antonio or Corpus Christi.
Mind you, we get homesick almost everyday because we don't really have any friends that we can visit here or hang out with. Anyways, I am glad to tell you that we are surviving and we are doing just fine. Hubby has been teaching for over five months and so far so good. He is thinking of renewing his contract but he isn't sure if he will push-through with the plan. One thing we don't like about living here is the drive from here to El Paso. The drive is what kills us especially when we visit El Paso for special occasion or when we have time off from school. The drive back and forth is a total of 20 hours.
We spent our Thanksgiving in El Paso and we stayed for a week. We had so much fun with families both in Las Cruces and El Paso. Three weeks later, we had another two weeks time off from school for Christmas and New Year. By the way, I am working for the same school district that my husband got hired as a teacher. I work as a substitute teacher for all school level but I normally worked at the high school where my spouse is a teacher. The job itself is very challenging compared to what I am used to in El Paso. I deal with teenagers and they can be very difficult to get along at times. I have to follow protocols and make sure that all the instructions from their respective teachers are followed.
Honestly, we never stop praying that one day we can go back to El Paso and settle there for good. I love El Paso and considered it my second home after the Philippines. I hope and pray that everyone will have a better year this year and that may our goals will come true. God bless us all and until next time. See you around!!!!!
