Tomoson Product Review: Paperback Book: Knowing Vera (Multicultural Romantic Suspense)

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Over a month ago, I was very fortunate to receive a free copy of this multicultural romantic suspense novel titled "Knowing Vera" which is written by Rachelle Ayala. I have been an avid reader ever since I can remember. Having the opportunity to read this book is actually very refreshing for me. The story of this book has a lot of twist and turn and it is a very exciting story. The day I received this book I thought I would just read only a couple of pages but I ended up reading the entire book in one day. Even my husband was wondering what I was doing in our bedroom because I was just laying there very content while reading this novel.

For those of you who haven't had the chance to read this novel written by Rachelle Ayala I would encourage you to check out her Facebook fan page or visit her blog at http://www.rachelleayala.com.
You can also subscribe to her mailing lists so you will be updated every day for her latest work or events by visiting this link http://eepurl.com/lR5kv.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Trip to New York City Part 1

I haven't updated this blog for awhile and I really feel bad about it. I used to have so much enthusiastic about writing my daily whereabouts but lately I have been so occupied with my full time job as well as being a part-time student. Mine you; doing both is not an easy task after all.

To start with, I am happy to tell you folks that I visited New York City for the first time in my life last month. The timing of my visit wasn't so great because of the weather condition but I did have a great time while I was on my mini vacation. It is also my first trip alone which I found it really strange because I am used to having my spouse with me all the time. It was a hard blow for both of us because we haven't been away from each other since we got married in 2006. Pretty much, my husband and I have separation anxiety the whole time I was away from him. My poor man, I feel so bad but I was really surprised that he let me go and encourage me to try traveling alone.

The experienced was mind boggling because as I said earlier, I never travel alone. Surprisingly, I survived the whole trip with a few glitches on my itinerary. Some of the glitches I have experienced during this trip were getting stuck in the Atlanta airport for 24 hours because all flights were canceled. Calling my husband actually helps calm my nerves and I am grateful that he was there to tell me that everything is going to be alright. Other glitches during this trip is arriving in New York City only to find out that my suitcase was not there because it was delayed. I have to make arrangement so they can deliver it to my hotel later that day.

Also, the temperature was freezing the whole time I was in New York. I really thought that I would die there because it was just too cold for me. I will continue to share with you folks the next part of this trip on my next post. Thanks for reading!
