Foods that Burn Your Fats

If you want to lose weight then you should try eating this four types of food that was mention in the Discovery channel website. Here are the following:
  • Coconut- they are rich in triglycerides which helps increase the liver's rate on metabolism up to thirty percent. The oil from the coconut also helps aid the thyroid gland.
  • Nuts- if you are like me who eats about 3 ounces of nuts everyday then you are more likely to lose one inch of fat from your waistline every month. Be sure to eat nuts that are unsalted and fresh so you can achieve whatever goals you want to attain.
  • Avocado or Guacamole- it is mega loaded with omega 9 fatty acids which is also found in olive oils. The omega 9 fatty acids which help to increase the conversion of fat into energy which in return give the boosts of metabolisms.
  • Seafood and fish- according to a research study, people who eat fish or other type of seafood will stay full up to two hours. The fish or seafood increase the production of leptin which stops the hunger craving between meals.
What are you waiting for? Try this out today folks and see the end result!

How to Get Rid of Dark Circles Under Your Eyes

My female colleagues at my place of work were sharing ideas on how they get rid of their dark circle around their eye area. Here are some ideas that I gather as well as ideas that I read from ELF.

  • Getting enough sleep is one secret
  • Putting sliced cucumber over your eyes. It is proven that cucumber have soothing effect on your eyes.
  • Always use sunscreen at day time and apply under eye cream at night
  • Drink plenty of water; your skin needs to be hydrated
  • Apply cold compresses under your eyes
  • Make sure to eat fresh vegetable and fruits everyday
Take note:
The lack of iron can cause dark circle around your eye areas.

Farm Life of my Beloved Uncle

I was checking my account today and I just barely found out that my Uncle Jose whom I fondly call Manoy had posted pictures of him and his family online. Manoy is my Mom's oldest brother who used to work as a chef but now prefers the farm life. They lived in one of the 48 towns in Bohol, Philippines. His wife works as a government employee and they have three children. They actually own several acres of land where he started planting vegetables and fruit trees such as eggplants, tomatoes, bitter melon, pineapples, banana trees and a lot more.

Manoy is one of the closest Uncles and I have a lot of respect on his work ethics. I remember that he used to carry me while growing up since I am the first niece on my mother's side. Anyways, here are some pictures from him.

Fast Forward and December is almost Here!

It feels so good to be back on my blog. I haven't really had the time to update my blogs since January because I have been quite busy. T...
