Ten Hour Shift!

I am finally home after a ten hour shift at my place of work today. I feel relieve that everything went well today and the customers were mostly nice plus I don't have to work tomorrow so that is pretty awesome. I still need to wake up a little early tomorrow since I need to do some errands before I go to school. Anyways, Friday will be so interesting since I will be working from 11 in the morning until midnight and Saturday from 11 in the morning till 8 o'clock in the evening. Then after those two days that I will have about three days off so it won't be too bad.

Happy Fat Tuesday 2011

My grandma considered this day to be very important because according to her this will be the last day that you can eat whatever food you want before Ash Wednesday which will fall tomorrow. Tomorrow will mark the start of Lent season and if you are a devoted Catholics it means that you will not eat meat especially on Friday for the entire Lent event.

Fat Tuesday is also an official holiday in New Orleans called Mardi Gras in French. Honestly, in our household it always feels like Fat Tuesday because we love food a lot.
