Rest in Peace Baby Angela, We Love You!

Earlier today, I was chatting with my sister Evonne and my Mom. They informed me that my first cousin baby Angela passed away. She will turn 1 year old by June 14th. I was emotionally shock and I could not help myself but cry. I could not believe because she was only a baby and my Aunt Marilou was devastated. The doctor said that she died of cardiac arrest. They just found out that she has heart failure.

The rest of our family is helping my Aunt for the funeral. I feel really bad because I have not met her. I am the oldest grandchild on my Mom's side and I was planning to see them when I go back to the Philippines and visit them. I told my mom to keep an eye for my Aunt Marilou because she is pregnant also. I know my Aunt Marilou loved her so much because she is the only daughter she has among four children.

We are praying that baby Angela's soul may rest in peace. I know that she is in the loving arms of our Creator.

Toast It!

When I first arrived in the United States of America almost 3 years ago, the first thing that my husband teaches me is how to use the toaster oven. Toaster oven are very helpful because it will make your chores easier. For instance, I can put my bread in the toaster while I am cooking my sunny side up egg and bacon in the morning.

Delivered Finally!

I feel good after I found out that my immigration papers finally arrived to its destination. All I have to do now is to keep an eye if they cash my check within the next few days and I am looking forward to get my extension letter and biometrics. Just keeping my fingers cross and praying that everything will be fine in the long run.

The Haunting in Connecticut

After my husband arrived from his work last night, we decided to go watch a horror movie. The movie that we watch was "The Haunting in Connecticut". The movie was very creepy because they live in a house which was use to be a funeral home a long time ago. The family was force to relocate because their son was very ill. After they moved in, unexplainable things started to happened.

It was funny though because the lady behind us keeps on screaming. I was just closing my eyes most of the time to prevent myself from screaming.

Patiently Waiting!

I talk to my big boss today and he reminded me that I need to present my extension letter after my permanent residence card expires next month. I have told him that I am waiting for the extension letter from the immigration and I will give him a copy of the letter as soon as I have them.

I am still tracking the documents online which we sent last Monday. Hopefully, they will cash the check right away and send me the extension letter from Vermont Service Center. I pray that the process will be smooth and fast. I just have to divert my thoughts to other important things so I don't have to worry about the paper work.
