Taking a Break

I was not feeling well when I went to work this morning. I am glad that today was not a busy day for us at work. I decided to take a nap which I rarely do but because I was tired I tried it very hard to fall asleep. I just woke up right now and I feel a little bit better. I just finish talking to a new Filipina friend whom my husband met at his working place. She's been here in El Paso, Texas for almost a year now. She has a 3 year old daughter and her husband works as a soldier in Ft. Bliss. She was excited when she talked to me on the phone because she wanted to meet Filipinos in El Paso. I told her that maybe next week I can visit and we can get to know each other in person. She's not only a Filipina to begin with but she is also from the Visayas region; she's from Cebu. I think she has a nice personality although this is the first time that we talk on the phone. I hope that this will be the beginning of an everlasting friendship.

High School Reunion

I am quite disappointed because I can't attend our 10 years high school reunion this coming May 16, 2009. Actually, a lot of my batch mates and classmates are not living in Bohol anymore. I have chatted with most of my classmates in high school and they are planning that this coming reunion will be a "pre-grand reunion" only because half of the people in our batch will not be able to attend. There are plans that we will be having our grand reunion for our batch 1999 by May 2010.
