Nice Meeting You Glenda!

I just finish talking to a new Filipina friend whom my husband met at his working place. She's been here in El Paso, Texas for almost a year now. She has a 3 year old daughter and her husband works as a soldier in Ft. Bliss. She was excited when she talked to me on the phone because she wanted to meet Filipinos in El Paso. I told her that maybe next week I can visit and we can get to know each other in person. She's not only a Filipina to begin with but she is also from the Visayas region; she's from Cebu. I think she has a nice personality although this is the first time that we talk on the phone. I hope that this will be the beginning of an everlasting friendship.
