7 Days Down 3 More to Go!

I am so exhausted because I have been working for one week straight without a day off from my place of work. I feel so sad as well because DH and I were not able to attend our church services today. I need a much needed mini vacation after this week. School is going to start soon already and I'm back to being a full time student. On the contrary, I like having extra money in my pocket so that is the only nice part about working overtime.

A Night Out at the Comedy Club

We celebrated my friend’s birthday at the Comedy Club last night here in Texas. DH and I weren't expecting the comedian to be funny because it was our first time to go there but we beg to differ. The show was hilarious and all three comedians were so funny that we can relate to what they were sharing to the crowd. Plus, last night was a full house too. We went and watched the first show with my boss and some friends from my place of work. My sister Susana who is the birthday celebrant was the one who gave out free tickets.

By the way, Susana and I aren't real blood related sisters but she call me her little sister and considers me part of her family which is really nice because my biological family are not with me. She introduces me to her relatives and friends as her long lost sister from another mother and father (laughing out loud). After the show, we decided to head to the nearest Applebee's and grab some food.

DH and I end up staying up all night and watched old movies in our crib.

Certified Workaholic

My work schedule at my place of work has been crazy for the past several days. I have been working for more than 8 hours a day and when I come home, I just don't have the energy to update my blogs at all. I am trying to get as much hours because I am saving money for my sister's wedding. I am still in shock on how quick my sister decides to get married but rest assured that she isn't pregnant at all. Men In Black 3 Movie Reviews

Last Saturday my husband and I were able to go to the movies and we ended up watching Men In Black 3. Well, I didn’t know what to expect with Men in Black 3, I had seen the previous movies and I felt that this movie wouldn’t be as good as the first one. Well, the movie was quite entertaining throughout and very enjoyable. It starts with Agent J (Will Smith) who must travel back in time to protect Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) from being killed by a vicious alien convict named Boris who had just escaped from a high security prison on Mars. Agent J ends up going back in time and meets a younger Agent K (Josh Brolin) and protects him from the villain. Well the movie was interesting because Josh Brolin really does a great job at playing a younger version of Tommy Lee Jones’ character, Agent K, I actually felt that they were both the same person. Well, the movie is filled with a few surprises, and I have to say that it was quite enjoyable and I highly recommend it.

Russell Solomon and His Legacy

Russell Solomon may not be a name that most people may not recognize at first; however, when a person mentions Tower Records, they instantly know what it is. Tower Records was founded by Russell Solomon and it is actually an international music store that also has a website with a huge variety of music to purchase, as well as other great items. Russell Solomon was a great entrepreneur that was truly ahead of his time and actually started selling juke box records out of his father’s drug store as a young man. Eventually he would open up Tower Records in 1960 in San Francisco, California which became quite successful although, it would eventually become defunct in 2006. Fortunately, however, their online store is still here and actually quite successful with many items that can be purchase at great prices and they have actual stores that operate internationally in various countries. I highly suggest that everyone check out their online store, it actually has a great deal of items that you will love.

I Love my Ipod

I am so happy that I finally transferred all my favorite songs from my CD to my iPod. I like different genre of music and I like listening to music when I am doing something. Music make my hectic day go smoothly. Well folks, I better get ready because dear husband is craving for some taco.
