Two weeks ago, dear husband and I went to watched the midnight screening of the movie "Sinister". Honestly, I am not a huge fan of scary movies but husband took me out to see it. The whole plot of the movie follows a family of four who moved in to a house where a family was brutally murdered. The main character in the movie is played by Ethan Hawke, and is a well-known crime writer who is looking for another big break in his career by writing his book in the same house where the previous family was murdered unbeknownst to his wife. He decides to investigate about the murder that happened in the house which becomes easier because of mysterious footage that appeared in the attic. It turns out that there is much more than this writer had bargained for as a lot of strange things begin occurring in the house.
Overall, the movie was scary enough for me to close my eyes the whole time I was in the theater with my honey!
