There was a very tragic accident on the road today. My husband was driving me to work and then we noticed that one of the street was block off and police officers were at the scene directing traffic to go around the crime scene. Traveling through the alternate route had caused me to be late to work.
I found out later on, what happen was that an old lady tried to cross the street and she was struck by a large SUV and died at the scene. It was very unfortunate and the police in my area is currently investigating who was at fault. For those of you who are pedestrians please sure that you use designated cross walks when crossing the street. May the soul of that poor old lady rest in peace!
