Baby Blues

Frankly speaking, my husband and I have been praying so hard that I will get pregnant soon. I feel so much pressure with my family and friends but I have to explain to them that my time has not come yet. But I have no doubt that I will become a mother in the future. God knows what my heart really wants and I give my trust to Him.

Education is Important

One of my classmates last Spring decided to stop going to school because she is having some financial issues that she needs to resolved before she can move forward with her education. I had talked to her a few days ago and I told her that she can probably get a college loan if need so she can get back on track. I am hoping to see her again next semester.

A Thankful Heart

Killer Elite Movie Reviews

Last Friday, before I went to my place of work, my husband and I decided to watched the action pack movie titled "Killer Elite" starring Jason Statham, Robert De Niro and Clive Owen. It is a group of assassins who travels around the world who are assigned to assassinate various people all over the world. One assassin played by Jason Statham has become tired of killing people and quits his job for a quiet life in Australia with his girlfriend. Shortly after this, his friend played by Robert Di Niro is kidnapped by a Middle Eastern ruler who will kill Robert De Niro's character unless Jason Statham's character agrees to assassinate former British SAS soldiers accused of killing the ruler's sons. This is only complicated by a former SAS soldier played by Clive Owen who is sent to protect his friends against Jason Statham and his group of assassins. The movie is filled with many surprises, plot twists, and action, which make for a great movie experience.

Job Interview

I can't sleep; I can't eat because I am too nervous about my husband's job interview tomorrow. I am praying that the Lord will bless and guide my husband for his interview and that he will be able to answer the question to the best of his knowledge. I have told my husband many times that "Thy will be done" and if the job is really for him then I know that he will get it. This new job that he applied has better benefits compared to the ones that he had right now and he will get paid more as well. Inconsiderate Neighbors

I have a run in with our neighbor upstairs last week. Last Wednesday, my dear hubby and I were listening to some music and we heard a loud knocking on our door. My husband opens the door and the apartment manager was there asking question if we were the one with the loud music on. He told us to turn the volume down or turn off the music so to my irritation I ask him if it is the people upstairs that were complaining about the music. At first the manager denied but eventually said yes it was them. I told them that we have done nothing wrong since it is 12 noon and we never disturbed anyone. Anyways, I was so pissed off and told the manager that they were the one who were inconsiderate because they vacuum their floors at 3 in the morning which is way passed the 10 pm- 6 am observed "silence policy". I had explained ourselves that we are trying to be the good neighbors and this is what we got for being too nice to them? I even reminded the manager that we have been living here for 4 years and we never had any instances of being the source of noise of some sort.

My husband and I went and talk again with the manager at his office and told him that he needs to tell the people upstairs about our complaints which are all true. Since then, I haven't heard them vacuuming the floor past the observed silence policy time. Hopefully, it will work out or else they will be expecting my rant and complaints every day.

I have always been a huge fan of peanut butter cookies because they are just superb in every way. While growing up, my mother used to bake different cookies every weekend as a treat to every member in our family. Does Not Like Working on a Sunday

I have a long day today not only that I was totally bummed that I have to work on Sunday but the customers are giving me a hard time. I was so frustrated that all I want to do is cry. Evacuating for the Hurricane

We are expected bad weather next week because of the hurricane that is brewing near Haiti. We are told that we may lose power for a few days and asked to board up our windows because the tropical storm brewing is expected to be a small hurricane when it reaches our neck of the woods. We have a good preparation plan that we have had to use many times before. We board up the windows, clean out the fridge, and take a few important papers and electronics with us if we have to evacuate. We recently got a home security systems alarm. I had never thought about the alarm and how it played into our preparation planned. I called the company to see if the alarm would still work if the power went out. I was delighted to find out that it would. We decided to add an alarm system to our home when we had to evacuate our homes last year. Fortunately, we did not get hit by a hurricane, but we many people returned to the neighborhood they found their homes broken into.

Horrible Bosses Movie Review

After attending my class yesterday night, my husband and I decided to watch the movie titled “Horrible Bosses" starring Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx,Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrel, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day and more. I was actually hesitant to watch this movie but my dear hubby insist that this movie was rated B- by some film critic and it should be really funny after all. I am glad I follow my husband's advice because I was laughing the whole time I was watching this movie.

I Wish I Could Become a Mom Someday

Being the oldest among 12 children I have learn to be more patient, more giving and more loving towards my younger siblings and my family. I have learned to think of my little sisters and little brothers first before I consider thinking about myself (most of the time). I have learned to share what I have and I thank my mother and my father for teaching me to be more considerate towards other people while growing up. I am praying fervently to God that my husband and my wishes will come true eventually and that is to get pregnant. We are ready to receive our own bundle of joy. I want to become a mother!
